We collect information you provide directly (name, phone number, email address, profile photo, and bank account details for payouts), information generated by your use of the platform (rental history, reviews, messages, wallet transactions), and technical information (device identifiers, IP address, push notification tokens, and location data when you grant permission).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate and improve the platform, process payments via escrow, send OTP verification codes and push notifications, match renters with owners, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable law in Saudi Arabia and Tunisia.

3. Sharing Your Information

We share your name, rating, and public listings with other platform users. We share payment data with licensed payment processors solely to complete transactions. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may disclose data when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

4. Data Security

All data is transmitted over TLS encryption. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. Payment details are handled by PCI-compliant processors. We store data on secured cloud infrastructure with access controls and audit logging.

5. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To delete your account and all associated data permanently, go to Profile → Delete Account inside the app. You may also contact us directly at the address below to exercise any data rights.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, personal data is erased within 30 days except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records). Anonymised analytics data may be kept indefinitely.

7. Children's Privacy

Sharekk is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via push notification or email. Continued use of the app after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
